Planning a farewell, birthday, or retirement gift? Decide a target total, then divide by headcount. The table below shows sample splits so organizers can set a clear ask. If you later collect money in KudosDrop, the optional gift pool takes a published 4.5% fee (premium waived at €50 / $50 pooled). Card create is coming soon.
How to use this calculator
- Pick a gift budget you can actually hit (voucher, experience, or digital gift).
- Count who is likely to chip in, not the whole org chart.
- Divide total by people; round up slightly so you are not short at checkout.
- If you use KudosDrop’s pool later, remember the 4.5% platform fee on the pooled amount.
- Share the per-person ask with the group before anyone pays.

Notes before you collect
- Amounts above are examples in EUR for planning only; choose EUR, USD, or GBP on a live card.
- KudosDrop’s optional pool fee is 4.5% of the pooled total. Premium tied to the pool is waived at €50 / $50.
- Stripe accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card. Digital gifts can be fulfilled via Tremendous.
- Private cards are noindex. This tools page is marketing content and is indexable.
- Never pressure people who cannot chip in; a kind message on the card still counts.
FAQ
Does the table include the 4.5% fee?
No. Rows show gift totals before a platform fee. If you collect in KudosDrop, add roughly 4.5% to the pool total (or ask a bit more per person) so the gift amount stays on target.
Example: €100 pool with the fee?
A €100 pool would leave about €95.50 after a 4.5% fee (€4.50). To net €100 for the gift, collect about €104.71 before fees.
When is premium waived?
When the pool reaches €50 or $50 (product currency rules apply for GBP). The 4.5% fee still applies as documented unless product terms change.
